Full-perimeter Kwikstage scaffold for a commercial project in South Yarra

Located in one of South Yarra’s most sought-after pockets, this commercial development on Avoca Street required a full-perimeter scaffolding solution to support the completion of a multi-storey building. Acquired by Prime Edition in 2023 as an unfinished shell, Avoca has been transformed into five north-facing, full-floor residences and one luxury home.

Working in collaboration with Henny and the award-winning Pandolfini Architects, WMA Scaffolding delivered and installed a tailored scaffold system using both Kwikstage steel and aluminium components to suit varying access needs across the façade. The scaffolding scope also included a public protection gantry, with shade cloth and Scaffguard used to encapsulate the scaffold. In addition to scaffolding, all stonework on the project was completed by our sister company, Wilmoore Allstone Pty Ltd. By working seamlessly alongside Wilmoore Allstone, our teams coordinated schedules, site logistics and access requirements to ensure the project ran efficiently and safely from start to finish.

With careful consideration given to site logistics, street access and architectural details, our team ensured safe and efficient access to all levels while maintaining full compliance with Australian Standards. The scaffold was erected to allow trades to move seamlessly around the building, supporting work across the façade, roof and internal structures through to finishing works.
